On using 'My Support' to seek help, I received an email within minutes giving me a possible cure for the problem. I then asked for further help and again the response was almost immediate. The advice cured the problem and I'm up and running again, able to edit the Aeromodelers club website.
I'm really impressed. I've been using 123-reg for years and rarely encounter problems. This one was due to an incompatibility between my new Windows 8 and Internet Explorer, and not due to any shortcomings with 123-reg. When I followed Support's advice to use the Google Chrome Browser instead, the problem vanished.
