I used the Live Chat Support and found it to be very efficient, quick and friendly. Eventually we were able to resolve my query but identifying myself was the problem. My domain name was set up 2 years ago and I couldn't locate the security details - the limits of the data protection rules made this extremely difficult as I could answer all bar one question. 123-Reg are very strict about this ruling and whilst I found it terribly frustrating it is also excellent for me to know, as a consumer that these rules are obeyed.
Petru was very patient and didn't at any point make me feel like an idiot!!
