I had recently transferred a further domain to my hosting package and it turned out to be pointing to the 123reg parking page.

Even after carefully checking the mapping of the new domain to a folder on the new domain it was not working.

I did contact the live chat support and got connected straight-away!

After writing down the issue similarly to above, I received the link describing the way of pointing your primary doamin to the hosting package. Did not apply as for the new domain (without own hosting) it woul nto show the one-click button. It brought me onto the correct path though and I was able to resolve via DNS settings by pointing the new a-record to the existing hosting of the primary domain - manually.

The chat was still brief and to the point - more importantly: it solved my issue within minutes.
