I have reserved a few domains with this company (with no hosting) and recently I've discovered that shockingly 123-reg are using these domains to advertise about themselves : one particular in-your-face add was quite shocking "123-reg : .xxx is coming soon !" taking half-a-page on each of my domains. I guess there are killing 2 birds with one stone doing that : free advertising for themselves and flooding the web with back links to themselves to manipulate search engine results and appear number one on Google searches. Also I have been subject to several incidents of 123-reg helping themselves in my bank account without my authorization. The help desk was very slow to respond and unfriendly and it took ages to obtain a (partial) refund. It really looks like this company is helping itself instead of helping customers. I really would NOT recommend 123-reg for domain name registration.
