I've had single tank water softners with computers and alarms that wake you up in the middle of the night to switch them off and use heavy bags of salt that require weight lifters to load. The Kinetico twin tank consumption driven approach takes away all that pain and uses salt blocks which are so much easier to handle. Installation was very good and very happy with the water. Only concern is that we seem to be using a lot of salt. Might need to check for a leak somewhere in the house!! They're not cheap but they are worth it.

Can't recommend [name removed] and his team enough. Following a very useful demonstration, we chose go ahead with a water softener, which was fitted a week later by Doug. Doug was helpful and overcome a tricky plumbing problem, where i am sure others would have just left it. The Water softener is excellent. Bathroom and Kitchen a lot cleaner and free from limescale. Very confident, dishwasher and washing machine, etc will last longer. Should have done it years ago!
