Purchased Kinetico 2020 to replace a struggling 7 year old softener. Vast improvement, which is obviously using a lot less salt, uses no electricity (therefore not disrupted by power cuts), and does not cut off the water supply while regenerating. Very pleased to be using block salt instead of tablet salt, because aged over 70 makes lifting 25 kilo bags very difficult. Now only need to lift 8 kilos. Very impressed with the supplier Hawker Softeners of Tiptree, who were prompt, courteous, efficient and gave me a good deal. All necessary information supplied before any commitment to purchase.
