Our old Kinetico lasted for over 20 years, so we did not hesitate to buy another one. We bought the new one from J M Softeners and have not been disappointed. We particularly like the block salt which is easier to replace than the pebble variety. We have enjoyed lovely soft water (which stops our kitchen appliances from furring up).
