I am delighted with our water softener and having had it disconnected for a few months during building work I realise how much we missed it. It is a very green product as it uses no mains electricity. This compensates for the slightly more expensive initial outlay when buying the unit. It is easy to use and I like the fact that it uses 2 large salt tablets rather than salt pellets. I highly recommend our installer. He has been brilliant and even refitted it after our recent building work. The softer water means our dishwasher and washing machine produce noticeably better results and it has really helped eliminate our son's excema. The only design improvement would be to add a clear window to see when it needed refilling without opening the door. It also came with a lengthy warranty which set my mind at rest.
