Living in an area of extremely hard water, we have been thinking of installing a Kinetico water softener for a couple of years now, but hitherto the expense put us off. We recently decided we would stay in our home for the medium to long term and decided the first thing we should do is have a water softener installed. The aim was to ensure our plumbing and appliances maintained longevity but the spin off has been to enjoy a better feel to our water in washing (clothes/ourselves) through to drinking.
We chose to use Dorset Water Centre - who were fantastic - they provided a quote 2 years ago and despite finding no record of their survey they honoured the quote - which I thought was fantastic given inflation and the rise in VAT. The service we received has also been top notch - Tim is extremely knowledgable was able to answer all my questions and provided the right advice that enabled us to decide that it was worth going for the Kinetico 2020c softener. He booked the installation quickly and the plumber and his mate have done a very professional job - the workmanship is extremely good and they very tidy leaving the area in which they worked spotless.
We have only had the Kinetico water softener for a short period but have seen immediate improvements and benefits to the feel of our water; we are delighted we finally took the plunge to have it installed. I would highly recommend Tim at Dorset Water Centre Ltd for anyone thinking of having a water softener installed.
