This is the second twin tank water softener we have had (we left the first one behind when we moved) and we are even more impressed with this newer and more efficient model. Personal hygiene (showering!) is now a delight and the water marks in the kitchen and bathrooms have become a thing of the past. The Harvey washing powder also saves money but it does have a preponderancy to want to stay in the 'drawer' and not always fully flush into the machine. It is a 'rolls Royce' machine, but worth every penny.
