The Harvey Block Salt Softener is a compact and very efficient unit which was installed very quickly and neatly in a situation that I (no plumber, me) thought was virtually impossible without major removal of kitchen furniture. We had been used to a communal soft water supply until it was terminated four years ago and longed to replace it but had held off because I thought it would be too difficult to fix. I only wish we had seen the Harvey brochure earlier! The web site is a delight, the representative who came to assess the job was very helpful without being at all pushy and the plumber who did the work was the sort of tradesman you hope to meet in your dreams. Moreover, the financial terms are almost too generous to be true. If this sounds altogether too gushing I can only say that the Company is a real pleasure to deal with.
In use, the unit needs almost no attention apart from an occasional glance to see whether new salt blocks are needed - about every six weeks for our 2-person household. Strongly recommended!
