Excellent customer service, great product, lovely soft water

Harvey's have been excellent from start to end. They promptly got back to us after a web enquiry about their water softeners and arranged a visit to give a quote in a few days. The rep who came to quote was friendly and thorough in explaining the product, assessing the installation, quoting and explaining the process. Ours was going to be a non-standard installation but he had a we-like-a-challenge approach and assured us the installers would just get on with it. We were kept up to date with who would attend on the day of installation by text and email and a pleasant installer duly arrived. He assessed our house layout from mains to where we wanted the softener and our kitchen sink/outside tap location and got to work. He respected our home and tried to keep mess and damage to some floorboards he had to lift to a minimum. The installation ran smoothly, despite it being non-standard and some tricky bits; the installer was professional and courteous. At the end of the day the softener is a large box and there is a limit on how attractive that can be but it fits the space nicely and the pipework is tidy. Living in a very hard water area we are now greatly enjoying soft water: no scale in the kettle every day, softer skin, much cleaner bathroom and worktops, using far less detergent. Harvey's offer a great try-and-buy deal too. Our only regret is not buying one sooner! Very satisfied customer.
