I bought this unit for my wife in 2005 because this is the one she wanted. After a year the control panel went out and the service tech came and replace the $90 part plus a $65 install fee. It ran great for another 5 years before the same contol board gave out but this time I purchase another part online and replaced it myself. It's now 2012 and still running strong, no odor, noise, nothing. Would purchase another but by the time this one dies it will not be available.
