Please tell me all you Brits are not serious with these crappy one star reviews, that you are all in on a collective prank of some sort. The Scarpa Terra GTX pair I own are outstanding for comfort, possibly the most comfortable piece of footwear I've ever owned. I am a collector with 40 or so different hikers, all world class Asolo, Zamberlan, Kayland, Mammut, and Lowa. I would rate these as the best boot I own for easy trail hiking and light backpacking. Excellent traction on almost any surface including wet and snow. Supple tongue makes them easy to adjust and lace up. Flexible leather makes break-in easy and perfect as a go-to boot for any casual outing. They are obviously not intended for expeditions over very rough or rocky terrain. The injection molded sole means you cannot resole them, but still, they should give very good service for many years. Mine is the American model (nubuck rather than the oiled leather) writing from Englewood, CO, USA. Cheers!

Yes yes yes, the most comfortable walking boots I have ever had. I use sorbothane insoles on all my walking shoes so have added those to my Terra GTX and having suffered for months prior to purchase from plantar fasciitis I was quickly into pain-free walking with these, am recommending them to everyone.
