Quintessential Boot for Light Hiking

Please tell me all you Brits are not serious with these crappy one star reviews, that you are all in on a collective prank of some sort. The Scarpa Terra GTX pair I own are outstanding for comfort, possibly the most comfortable piece of footwear I've ever owned. I am a collector with 40 or so different hikers, all world class Asolo, Zamberlan, Kayland, Mammut, and Lowa. I would rate these as the best boot I own for easy trail hiking and light backpacking. Excellent traction on almost any surface including wet and snow. Supple tongue makes them easy to adjust and lace up. Flexible leather makes break-in easy and perfect as a go-to boot for any casual outing. They are obviously not intended for expeditions over very rough or rocky terrain. The injection molded sole means you cannot resole them, but still, they should give very good service for many years.
