I bought a second hand Vauxhall Vivaro. Got no ends of problems. Changed Glow plugs, MAF Sensor, Throttle potentiometer. Stii having problems. Engine starts but no revs what so ever. Have to wait to cool down for nearly 2 hours then it works ok but then get worried about switching it off as it may not go again. Had to call AA for help 3 times in 4 days to tow me garage and home. Very unreliable. Why did they ever make electronics in this vehicles? Cables and wires good old days. Atleast then any mechanic could fix any problems. Would never recommend to anyone to buy it. I am changing to different make minibus.

I have the same problem with my van. The trick is to force the engine to rev a little then the accelerator pedal will work. I get the van going in second gear then change down to first gear. This forces the van to rev, pedal works and I can carry on driving it into the ground.
