“Life Saving Machine”

I had to contact VAX direct after the machine they sold me in June 2012 gave me electrical burns, an electric shock, head injuries and soft tissue damage. The dangerous machine is the POWER 6 COMPLETE. I did contact VAX direct following being injured and I is plainer what had happened to me and that I was fearfull that this model of machine could potentially have killed me or anyone else that is using this type of machine! Hoover review I was waiting for the arrival on my vax Hoover, I am a busy mum of three with dog, cat and rabbit so a pet Hoover seemed my ideal Hoover to review On receiving the Hoover I opened it up and started to put it together, the instructions for this where very easy to understand, I was surprised I needed a small screwdriver but I had one at home so all was ok Overall it took me about 10 minutes to put it together and get hoovering :):) I was surprised with how much it sucked... I have had 2 VAX cleaners but this is far the best I have ever used, light, great suction, easy to use and the actual floor part that moves along the floor with the brush is slightly narrower and much less taller than others - so you can get under the sofa and other places much easier. I bought 2 brilliant flexible extensions which when combined with the hose on the vacuum I can leave the vacuum at the bottom of the stairs and go further than the top. I was lucky enough to trail one of these recently and I have to admit, it is really good. Came in bits and I thought it wouldn't be sturdy as it was only put together with 3 screws, but don't be mislead, it is really strong and powerful. I have a long haired GSD and it makes quick work of cleaning up after him. You can raise or lower the height distance from the floor, ideal for when you move around the house from hard wood floors to carpets. It is quite loud but as it does such a good job... (read more)

The Power 9 was easy to assemble ... It took me about 5 minutes and it was ready to go. It looks really good and is certainly robust.With its Single Cyclone technology (2300 watts) and 330 air watts - it is certainly the most powerful vacuum cleaner I have ever owned., The suction is incredible which means you do not have to keep vacuuming over the same spot repeatedly (once is enough) and if you have any pets in the house, then this is a great tool for removing all those stubborn pet hairs... Despite appearing daunting at first glance, the assembly of the vacuum cleaner was quick and straightforward. After locating the well hidden on/off switch, I was amazed at the amount of dirt to be extracted from the rug in the living room. The suction is powerful and the inclusive tools are excellent. I especially like the rotating brush nozzle, which does a superb job getting cat hair off the upholstery. A nice long cord means that there is less mucking around moving between sockets whilst... For 20+ years I have been a fan another bagless vacuum that is until my new VAX Power 9 Total Home was delivered last week. After unpacking and reading the very clear assembly instructions my Vax was ready to go in less than 5 minutes. Hubby was amazed that I had put it together without his help. Just three screws and its ready to go. First off I decided to try the crevice tool I removed the cushions from the sofa and started her up. OH my goodness how dirty am I. My three seater gave up... Quick to put together. Easy to use. Very efficient and powerful suction. Good selection of additional tools included. Very long power lead. I have owned many vacuum cleaners over the years and in my opinion, this has the best suction of any machine I have tried. Ideal for pet owners, both long and short hairs are quickly picked up by this machine, both when using it normally and also when using with the included tools - so great results on stairs. I took delivery of my Vax Power 9 Total Home Bagless vacuum cleaner about a week ago and wish i had got one earlier. Open the box and pieces go together very easily and is fixed with only 3 screws, i didn't even need the easy to follow instructions 10 minutes and i was cleaning, and a great job it did, its light and very powerful, has a very large capacity cylinder and has 4.2 meters of cable so can reach nearly all of my ground floor area without having to unplug and replug and the hose... I took the Vax Total Home vacuum cleaner out of the box and looked at the various bits and pieces and thought "can I put it together"??? Well the answer is YES!! Once I read the clear instructions and looked at the pictures, I discovered that you actually only needed to use the 3 enclosed screws to get it up and running......quick and easy, even for someone so totally untechnical as me.
