The Mach Zen, when it is working, is an excellent machine, problem is that it comes with a Six Year Guarantee!
Whilst this guarantee is not supposed to affect your statutary rights it requires you to deal with Vax, notthe shop it was bought from.
That is when your problems start!
Vax Customer Care is an 0844 number and must be under staffed, callers will invariably find themselves queuing behind twenty or more people.
The contact form on their website carries a warning that they experience problems with it, so do not expect any prompt response.
Emails are dealt with by an automated handling system so you may well only get an error message by way of reply.
At first sight the guarantee seems to good to be true and it probably is!
In my experience Vax will do anything to get out of honouring it, blaming faults on alleged misuse if they cannot be attributed to damage or wear and tear.
