“what a total waste of money”

we purchased this laughable excuse for a cleaner at christmas, when we first tried the unit it was very good but beware this leads you in to a false sense of security because the next time a little red light appears on the back of the machine telling you there is a blockage, what this all relates to is that the dust filter on top of the cylinder is blocked of dust so we followed the instructions by the letter on how to clean the filter dried it put it back, 5 minutes later oh suprise suprise... Ok it sucks dust and hair alright and is light. But have the misfortune to even clean a small bit of paper and presto 50% less suck. A crumpled scrunched up tissue? Forget it. You will have to open the thing, get dust all over you, and spend a long time getting a lot of dirt out of the nearly un get-at-able bottle neck inside the cleaner.If your home has paper dirt, do absolutely not buy this thing. “overall a great little hoover”

I was disappointed, having read mainly good reviews on this hoover to find that I was struggling with it. I am unable to twist and empty the cylinder by myself; it is just too tight, and although I do not regard myself as weak, I find it ridiculous that I cannot empty my own hoover. It is a great shame as apart from that, the suction is fantastic, it's light and easy to use. I have ended up having to purchase another hoover of a different make. (read more)

Wow this hoover is fantastic!! Huge capacity, maybe a little heavy for some, but perfect for my own needs. I got this to replace an old Argos own brand hoover, which to be honest I thought worked well, how badly mistaken I was, as on the first use, after only a few days since the last hoover and the dirt that was collected was pretty disgusting, but amazing at the same time!! There is a variable suction dial on this hoover to adjust the amount of suction used. I found that on the strongest level it lifted up the carpet and had strong power! Big size dust container, so does not need emptying regulary. Best to empty outside as it does blow dust about when opened up. Adjustable height on pole, so you can have correct height for you. Lightweight and easy to move around. Come with good range of attachments and clear instructions. (read more)

Amazingly powerful - had to turn the power right down as it was pulling up carpet tiles ! Very light and compact - my wife has been having treatment for problems with her shoulder but found this easy to use without giving her any problems. The long cord and hose means that you don't have to keep unplugging it and plugging it in somewhere else. We have previously had an upright cleaner - it is so much easier to just push a button to wind up the cord rather than having to stand there... (read more)

I am very impressed.....Vacuum Cleaner has a VERY VERY powerful suction which can be turned up or down depending on your need,the minimum setting is sufficient enough. I have two dogs and its amazing at picking up all those little dogs hairs left behind on your carpets!! Its very quiet to use an the capacity seems to be huge,which is great as it means you don't have to empty it so often Its really easy to clean and although it seemed quite large when i got it out the box its very deceivingly... I have previousy only used upright vacuum cleaners so the cylinder style is completely new to me. The size of the cylinder itself is compact and even with the extending hose is ideal for homes with small amounts of storage. I had some reservations re the height of the vacuum cleaner but the extending hose suits different family members and also allows the small gaps to be reached that can be missed with upright cleaners.
