I started using Henry years ago when i used to be a cleaner in a nursing home, we had these a few months after i started working there and they were a huge improvement over the old one which was a Dyson upright vacuum cleaner that was useless, bulky, flimsy and all the attachments kept dropping off even though it wasn't that old. The Henry was so good I recommended it to my mom whose vacuum was on its way out, she ended up buying one and was equally impressed. That was 8 years ago! She still has the same Henry today and she has used it every day. The only thing wrong with it now is recently the power switch has stuck in the 'on' position but that's all, no major problem.
I only moved out of my mom's house 4 years ago and I've been through 2 vacuum cleaners already, one was a Dirt Devil bagless cylinder and the other was similar. They both lost a lot of suction very quickly and the hose split in several places. The other day I decided to treat myself to a Numatic Henry, which was expensive for me but well worth it, I had almost forgotten how good they were until I unboxed it and started using it. The suction is incredible and it is effortless in sucking up every single spec off the floor, even my nylon rug in the hall which previously was a nightmare to get all the bits off was no trouble at all with Henry! The hose is very long and allows you to reach all the way to the top of the stairs which saves holding it up and lugging it about as you hoover each step. It also comes with a good set of different handy attachments.
Another good thing about Henry is how easy it is to get spare parts for him if anything breaks, which will save you from having to fork out for a brand new hoover.
There is nothing bad I have to say about Henry. He has proven to be a very tough, sturdy, reliable, long lasting little hoover for over 30 years now. Forget about those fancy overpriced, overrated bulky Dysons you see on the adverts everyday and trust Henry instead. They are priced at £89.97 on Amazon Uk. You can't go wrong.
