I had seen the Dyson DC 11 advertised many times and appreciated the idea of ease of use, minimal screws, etc. and tremendous suction. I believe that was the biggest attraction, the suction. Well, it worked wonderfully for less than 1 month. The suction that was advertised was still there but the carpet beaters could take no resistance before they stopped spinning. I took it to a vacuum cleaner repair company, who advertised working on Dyson products in Cleveland Heights. They themselves stated that Dyson was overrated and that he had many people who had brought theirs in for repairs. After "fixing" my vacuum and charging for a cleaning that I did not authorize, it performed (or didn't) as it did before I took it to the company for repair. As it is an expensive item, I sent the vacuum cleaner head itself to Dyson. It was returned to me doing the exact same thing it had been doing, not much and I had to pay for everything. The suction was still there and it was very strong but the head continues to stop with any resistance.
After spending approximately $200.00 for "repairs", there has been no resolution and I may try to sell the piece of junk for parts.
Hope someone at Dyson reads this, I tend to be loyal to products/companies that I like and work the way they are advertised to work.
