The quality of teaching is so poor, MMU attitude to students is now your hear get your timetable and F*** off. They have no interest in students staff are very reserved they tend to ignore students and give them poor level of service. The whole quality of the product “service” and performance in class is so poor they fail to give a professional level of service to students . The math teacher e.g. M.E and N.R. who are fashion women who still living in the dinosaur earner. The teaching is very poor the spit word out of there mouth and expect you to catch it. They do the minimum of teaching in class they won’t even repeat there self in class to ensure students understood. They will ask the odd one question and there would be no reply from students. Staff have a can’t do attitude and fake and are rude to students, they ignore students in class they won’t engage with them.

Staff tend to read from a script they do the minimum of teach, talking, about the course, what you going to be doing, what we did last week the journey they take you on is so poor. They will talk as the previous week did not exist and will not bring it up or talk about it, we would have work they we did previous weeks and they won’t come up, for example PDP teaching will avoid engage with students so they can do it when they want to and not work around students. I had staff called N.G. who basically was avoid any engagements with students so she could not make students work. She would do it when she want to and not when students want it. Staff really don’t understand how students work they will avoid engagements.

Staff are old fashion and conservative, people who have found the education system a place for incompetent and job for life. In math they teach you pass exam paper, staff will say last year only 3 students past this question. They teach just to pass they don’t talk around the area at all, they just say do this, this and this equal the answers. You be doing a math question where you don’t understand the content/area/ of math question you doing it on.

Teaching staff have no interest in you they keep their distance, they don’t support you or make you feel welcome. They come across as if they are going out of there way, there is no such thing as student services or “Customer focus” they have a can’t do attitude towards students and you don’t get you money worth of education. As tuition fees rise to £8/9,000 watches this space for more negative reviews. There would have been more but students can’t be asked to make accounts as its time consuming and annoying.





This uni is complete pill of s you really won’t get anywhere with a degree from this university apart from dole queues at the Jobcentre look at graduate unemployment.

MMU live up to its expectation as a rubbish university they have a dis-fuctionised workforce and can’t do teaching staff. The all culture here is staff are great and wonderful and the teach you well from managements. They employ people whose face fits. Half of the teaching staff can’t speak English. Staff with paper qualification PHD in return for b*** jobs. But when you ask them about a related question to the industry e.g. in math where do you use algebra to N.R blank confused face you see. These people meant to be academics and they don’t know about their industry.

The facilities are awful computer are very slow, room are cold, everything is self-service they don’t tell you anything and keep you in the dark, staff don’t tell you how things work and everything online and they don’t show you around or how to use the facilities. Or communicate about the universities services.

Half of these degree are basic the same thing don’t be fooled by the heading/title of degree for example business and economics or economics and mathematics its just marketing and promoting. They do this to get stupid students who think there degree is “special or unique” . basically they say they have millions of course but its just marketing and you will be in class with people from all of the university and other subject which is not good.

On there websit they come across very student focus but when you come here staff have no interest in you what’s so ever. You have a teacher for couple of years and they won’t even know your name and they don’t seem to want to know. Teaching staff and don’t bond with students unlike at college where staff are friendly and supported. At mmu staff avoid engaging with students so they can avoid doing as little work as possible.
At uni the class does not tend to bond you are a stranger in you class no-one talks and the teaching staff try keeping it that way so they can sit there and talk to themselves. They tend to suppress students. The class room dynamics is really poor, unlike college where teaching staff tend to talk and engage with students and encourage you to talk. At this s** hole uni they expect you to sit there in silence so they can spit words out of their mouth.

Teaching staff in math for example will come in class and will ignore you and stand and start talking to themselves they won’t even acknowledge the class. The teaching style is very formal and they don’t tend to repeat themselves or go through material again. Or make sure you understood.




Teaching staff are awful they foreign half of them can’t speak English don’t come to this university you won’t get anywhere, their own teaching complain on how poor this university is. They just stand there talking to themselves. They have a cant do attitude teaching is poor everything on the university website is a complete lie even half of these review on the internet they probably done by their own staff. They no way represent students teaching staff push students away by not engaging with the. They ignore you as if you don’t exist students stop coming in because teaching staff just ignore and don’t make students feel welcome. They will never encourage you or support you what so ever basically they push you away by not talking, acknowledging you, supporting you, getting know you, they don’t even know your name. they even talk to you around the university.

Students stop coming in in my classes less 40% of the class attended because the engagement by staff. They say student don’t come in the don’t create the “environment to come in” you will be ignored and suppressed. They are arrogant, rude, can’t do attitude, to face, shouting at students. They don’t understand that we are student and we pay for a level of service. Unlike college where staff have common understanding and want to ensure you that you have a god level of service and experience. They don’t, they fail to give a professional level of service.
