visited alton towers on tue 7th august 2012
very expensive unless you book on line like we did saveing £20 per person a lot of money if a group what made it worse was the long drag buy foot from the car park to entrance almost half a mile the train chuttle sevice that used to run no longer in service so it seems??
once inside you are very ristricted by choice of food which seems very expensive. seems you either take the sting in the pocket or face getting a stamp pass out to walk all the way back to car for a packed lunch.
park was very clean. alton towers is a great place but would not be a place to visit that often due to the high entrance prices
