my 10 month old gap jeans have also worn through. And like others when I took them back with the original receipt I was practically laughed at. The sales lady was very apologetic and said she could probably help me out. Then after speaking to her manager the story changed. I had to ask to speak to the manager who walked up to me as if I had just dragged her away from her job saving small children in Africa to deal with my complaint! I explained I loved the jeans and have three more pairs... She honestly didn't want to hear it. Fair wear and tear is what they call it! Not a Manufacturing issue but me over wearing my jeans! She even had the nerve to say 'they are quite worn'! When I wear them as much as any other jeans I have owned! don't buy from GAP! There's no quality in their products or customer care!
