USELESS & STRESSFUL

The first POST OFFICE travel money card that I used had its details hacked from a machine and money was drawn from my account, so even though the card was technically not stolen, I had to report it as stolen. Although I tried to view my transactions online, for some reason this was impossible and I could not see how much had been taken from the card. In spite of reporting this and being told that a temporary block would be put on the card, no further explanantions of what would then happen were forthcoming.

A few months later, I obtained a second new card, loaded with Euros to travel in South America and lo and behold after only 1 ATM cash withdrawal it became impossible to withdraw cash from ATM's. At least I was able to pay for goods with the card but not everywhere accepted cards. On arrival in the UK I tried to use the card and got the same stupid message from the ATM saying that I had exceeded the limit allowed by the card and this of course was not true. Conclusion..never again. Ignore the one star rating- this card doesn't deserve one.

I have now asked for a refund of the balance left on my card.
