Not very good I'm afraid

I got my teenage son this card so that he wouldn't lose his cash in Cyprus. What a disaster. He tried to withdraw funds at the ATM. The statement clearly states that the attempts were declined. He had €400 credit but could only use €11. Hmmmm. I then had to log into my own online baking on MY holiday and send some cash to his normal card so he could eat and drink.

It's a great idea but it's just that, an idea.

In my experience it just doesn't work in practice.

I really wouldn't advise anyone to get one of these.

Maybe try FairFX instead. I've used this myself and had no problems.
