I have my family visiting me in America from the UK. They brought these cards with them, and they were able to successfully withdraw money from a cashpoint. This was about as good as it got. So far it has been completely impossible to top up these cards either online or on the phone. Each time we attempt it has been declined, and all the person in customer support could tell me was that the transaction had probably been declined by the bank as fraud because that was the usual reason that the cards were unable to be topped up.

Don't get these cards. They have been a constant source of aggravation and it has been an enormous time suck.
