I got the US$ card before my recent holiday. The card worked fine for switch payments, but I was unable to withdraw cash from ATM's - this became a real issue as I was on a hiking holiday with a group of strangers and I had to bargain with them - me switching their purchases and them giving me cash - a tad embarrassing!

Now that I'm home I still cannot withdraw cash at ATMs here - Customer (lack of) service tell me it's because I tried to use RBS ATMs(!) - Santander def works - eh not for my card either!

Customer Service still argue that I can withdraw the cash, despite several attempts at various different types of cash machines!

I will definitely be trying an alternative card supplier before my next holiday!!!
