The PO travel money card was not accepted at any of the outlets where I tried to use it. In particular, the main places included Berlin train network. They didn’t accept Mastercard anyway and as I needed to buy a 5 day travel pass for 4 people, I had to use all the cash I was carrying to avoid bank charges. Which is why I order the card in the first place .

Other outlets that accepted Mastercard, couldn’t accept the card either. It kept showing as an error. This included the Hotel we were staying at. and the Duty Free Shops at Schonefeld Airport. The only way I could use the card was to go to the bank and withdraw cash. Now i am left with an odd amount on my card as i can not withdraw it in a cash machine and i am yet to find an outlet that can accept the card.

The card is obviously not as versatile as brochures and advertising make it out to be. Other customers should be made aware of this.
