I have a very dear friend who sadly has recently lost her husband. A wise man who took out insurance with saga for two cruises they had booked for this year. He recently passed away suddenly from a heart attack, for a 90 year old not such an unusual thing, but when his widow , herself 86 years old has tried to make a claim on this, very expensive policy, saga are attempting to wriggle out of paying compensation, claiming "an undisclosed medical condition!" Im sure he gave them his date of birth and suffered no known problems with his heart until just before his death. For a company purported to be there for the over 50's Saga would appear to be very unsympathetic to the grief of a widow, I have tried to get hold of somebody in this company but cannot get past the first call centre operator, do you think SAGA reads these reviews? Do you think they care?
