I am still waiting adjudication of a holiday insurance claim by AXA Insurance. Their communications are terrible. Initially I appeared to be allocated a claims officer. She has now left the company. I just got returned email from her address. I then had to contact a general email address. And only got computer generated replies.
I had to leave telephone messages at a switchboard for someone to call me back. You can never speak directly with a claims office. When I did speak to someone they told me that they had a huge backlog and that my claim would not be looked at for another week. That date has come and gone without any correspondance.
I telephoned yesterday and could only leave a message. I was promised a call within 24 hours - but have heard nothing yet.
They have not done anything proactive at all.
