we wanted a simple walking brek in the South Downs, away from it all with good food and hospitality. The Ram at Firle was perfect for this. A super cozy pub with chatty and friendly staff, super room and very fluffy towels and bath robes. we felt cosseted throughout our stay. Lovely walks from the pub up to Firle beacon and beyond. A real haven close to home! nothing to dislike at all.
