I am practised at online booking/purchasing. The norm is a final confirmation screen where you can review the details of your purchase before committing. When I saw the total from Opodo seemed to have acquired hefty (but unspecified) charges, I cancelled the transaction and started again - arriving at a more acceptable (if still inflated) fare. However, it the appeared both records had been logged. I contacted customer service, and asked for one to be deleted. The operative stated that it was 'impossible' to remove a request from the system. Really? I've worked in Systems and it looks like you have a problem. It's also odd that - post purchase of course - you can confirm or cancel, which looks like selection to me. And I suppose that it was the expensive one was also something you couldn't help? I don't know the proprietary name of your system, but I'd call it Sharp Practice.
