we recently booked a holiday with these people but due to unforeseen circumstances some of the party had to cancel due to personal issues.
after paying £1400 deposit we thought the people cancelling would just loose there deposit of £100 each, which we accepted.but O NO.our holiday per person went from costing £759.00 each up to £1003.00 each.after contacting them and to be honest they were rather abrupt on the phone,didn't reply to email with a breakdown of the cost which we asked for they also went on to say when we rang there system was down and would have to ring back later.
there was 3 people initially that cancelled but a friends mum was diagnosed with an illness which meant at this time hisself and his daughter would also have to drop out.this meant the holiday would yet again rise in cost so then we really couldn't afford the holiday.
i rang them explaining the situation but there was no effort on there part to come to any agreement so we had to cancel the whole holiday.only to be told then we had to pay a further £300 and something pounds to cancel.
we have lost over £1700 and have gone on to book a cheaper holiday with Thompsons who are helpful and understanding.
Please be aware of this company's policies before going ahead booking with them .not a good experience what so ever,avoid if possible.
