The Nile Cruise we had booked was cancelled due to the political situation in Egypt. We were offered a partial refund plus a credit note for the remainder of the deposit we had paid. We found a short Madeira break the same day and used the refund and credit note plus some extra cash to pay for the new trip. So far, so good. The only downside to these transactions was that Qwertytravel's computer could not keep up with what had taken place and we were invoiced in error for £550. A quick email to the Administration Department pointing out that the "high speed idiot" had got it wrong resolved the situation. A classic case of "Garbage in, garbage out". Overall I guess we're happy so far.
