I have got my holidays booked for 1st May. I just want to amend and make sure that they have received all our details correctly. “Customer service is terrible”

I've got 2 holidays currently booked with love holidays one for April and one in May however I will not be booking anymore with this company. I have an urgent query which I may add is a mistake love holIdays have made and I cannot get through to anyone on the phone. I booked a holiday to Egypt with loveholidays biggest mistake of my life. I booked for 3 people but wanted to add another person on. rang them up as you do and they said they would get back to me in 48 hours I waited 3 days and rang them as hadn’t heard from them and they said no one has called in we have no record. Haven't even made it on holiday yet! Booked a holiday for hubby and I for our first Xmas without the kids, due to fly out on 20th December. Since its a special occasion we paid extra to get a suite poolside at the hotel. Paid the deposit and when the confirmation email came through it was for a standard suite but at the same price as the poolside suite. Similar situation myself. Paid extra for an upgraded suite, email confirmation came through as standard suite at same price as upgrade.
Found out the hotel doesn't even have this particular type of suite anyway. Love holidays have offered 20 quid compensation which isn't even close to the extra we paid. Been fobbed off for the last 2 weeks now. Good luck :)

We booked our holiday through Loveholidays.com and they were a good deal cheaper than any other deals we had seen elsewhere. Now I know why! They have the worst customer service I have ever come across. We booked a sea view room and paid extra for it but when the confirmation came through, it was just for a standard room. I read the terms and this was fine and we gave the required notice and asked them to amend our booking from October to anytime Feb to June next year. We couldn't have been more flexible re the dates. Fab company , we go to mykonos every year to same hotel Thomson pulled out fro Manchester flights to mykonos so last year went with Olympic , this year tried to book with them and they came back no flights available,my friend me this web site and it was straight forward booking on line. Hi,

We have just spoken directly to our Customer Services Manager and he has advised that unfortunately, one of your bookings failed to go through at the time of booking and this was because there was limited availability, not because we had double booked your room. We were able to re-book this failed booking for you however due to this limited availability, we could only do so onto an alternative date.

We completely understood the frustration this may have caused you so we waivered the admin fees applicable our end however, we were not able to waiver the Thomson fees hence why we needed to request those extra funds.

We have listened to the calls and we do apologise that you felt you received a rude service, however this was never our intention and all we tried to do was ensure that we relayed all the correct information to you.
