Almost good!

If all goes smoothly it doesn't really matter who you are with - it's when you need help that it matters. So having endured an overlong shuttle trip from airport to hotel, and having been given an extremely early pick up time for the return journey, I decided it would be nice to upgrade the return journey to private transfer - easy? Sadly not. The shuttle company said they were not allowed to alter the booking so I had to go through loveholidays. I spoke to a very helpful gentleman who phoned the shuttle company and then phoned me back. I couldn't fault his attitude. However, company rules are that I would lose the money I paid for the original transfer booking, and would have to start again. OK, it was worth that. But then, of course you have to pay a fee per person for altering the booking. Another £50. So over £80 in total just for wanting to upgrade my airport transfer. They did offer to reduce their fee to £25, but given that no one would be out of pocket and in fact the shuttle company would earn more, it didn't make much business sense to me. So while I would recommend them for their booking process, which was very straightforward, and the very helpful attitude of their staff, the lack of flexibility to respond to a request for help marks them down to average.
