We have just returned from our three weeks touring the Southern States booked through American Sky and would like to thank the rep for all shedid to make this a very enjoyable holiday.
From the moment we left from Glasgow Airport everything ran very smoothly:
The flights to and from Atlanta with BA were very good but for your future guests we would suggest that upgrading from World Traveller to World Traveller plus made quite a difference in terms of comfort and service.
Car hire at Atlanta was very smooth and out Hyundai Santa Fe Sport was easy to drive and very comfortable for the long distances we covered.
The hotels selected were all excellent with reception staff being very welcoming and our requests for upper floor rooms were met on each occasion. The majority of the hotels were within walking distance of local attractions however, we would suggest that the Millennium Maxell House in Nashville and the Holiday Inn Riverview in Charleston were not close enough to the downtown areas. A shuttle was offered by both hotels but this was a very limited service and as such we had to take the car into the city centres which was not very convenient. It is worth making a special mention of The Eola in Natchez which was beautiful, like a European Renaissance Museum, and truly unique we were sorry we had only booked one night there.
With the reps help we added extra nights in to our itinerary and were glad we did so as this gave us more time to explore each of the areas.
As promised the hotel vouchers were there when we arrived and the guide book provided was excellent. We had planned our journey before we went but the guide book proved to be invaluable.
Once again thank you for all your help and we certainly will consider booking with you again.
