Our third trip to the Porini Amboseli camp & conservancy was as brilliant as our first. All the staff are helpful & kind & are ready to assist with any questions whether it be about birds or any other animals. The game drives, sundowners & night drives are lovely. We have now visited all the Porini camps in Kenya & this is our favourite. June is a good time to go because it's not too hot & not too crowded (not that it's crowded at this camp). The National Park with it's huge herds of elephant families was as spectacular as ever. If you prefer birds the birdlife is second to none with hundreds of species.
Tracking with an armed ranger & Maasai guides is interesting & informative. We also saw the most amazing chameleon which I had never seen before on any other visits. We were so close to nature-such a wonderful experience.
