A fantastic trip that covers a lot of sights, Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, LA, Las Vegas, Route 66. The accommodation was budget, but in the US it was all of a very good standard - spotless with good customer service. The car hire was from Dollar & we upgraded the insurance & included SatNav (invaluable).

The only minor issue was the location of the Good Hotel in San Francisco, I would recommend taxis to Chinatown/Fishermans Wharf that can be flagged or the hotel can book for you (price around $15 inc tip)

There are some long driving days, so best if more than one driver. We only had one, but it can be done (he gets a medal).

I would gladly recommend tropical sky website, their customer advisors were excellent & emailed quotes for our alterations & weren't pushy.
