As a customer I feel that it is very important to publish customer experiences and today I have had a shocking customer experience at the hands of Tropic Breeze. I feel that one star here is incredibly generous on the back of a conversation with one of the company owners. I wanted to speak to Tropic Breeze about the prospect of refunding a £200 'non refundable' deposit. The situation is rather a unique situation in that my 3 month old son has had major hearty surgery and cannot fly. We understandably are very disappointed not to be able to travel. Unfortunately our travel insurance policy does not cover us and BA have been amazing - they refunded our flights straight away. After a rather dismissive sales consultant took no time to even consider our personal situation, I asked to escalate this to someone in a position of authority who I would have assumed cared about his customer and would have listened to my story. Unfortunately this was not the case at Tropic Breeze. I spoke to someone who made it very clear that keeping a £200 deposit was more important to him and his business over retaining a customer who would have spent circa £4000+ on a holiday and possibly many more holidays. He stated: "We are a small business, the cost to put together your quote needs to be taken in to account. The fact you don't have adequate travel insurance is not my problem." I am shocked and astounded. I work in travel and know that there are zero costs to put together a holiday, what nonsense. I work for a luxury travel company and if we handled our customers like this, we wouldn't have much of a business, certainly not a long term business. His response to this: "Well we started in 2001 and have been operating now until 2018, so we're doing ok." For me this was not about a £200 deposit, it was about being dismissed, not listened too and no effort on the part of Tropic Breeze to empathise or help whatsoever. We live in an age where customer service, and relationships are so important in business and I am shocked by the response the person I dealt with and Tropic Breeze. What a shocking ambassador for a company. DO NOT BOOK with Tropic Breeze, THEY DO NOT CARE about their customer and if something goes wrong, they WILL NOT look after you. To them, their bottom line is everything. Shame on you and Tropic Breeze.

WE traveled as a family to Lily Beach for a special birthday./holiday of a lifetime and were not disappointed. The advice and help in booking what we wanted was never any trouble and call back were always prompt. The price was very competitive and the knowledge and advice offered by the team, about flights and hotels was invaluable in getting exactly what we wanted. Tickets arrived as planned and the information about what to expect on arrival in the Maldives helpful,especially the tips about clothing and drinks Clear information about what up front payment was needed and why-in this case the flights element of the package. Many thanks for all your hard work.. We will be very happy to use you again.

We have just returned from 2 weeks in Canouan in the Grenadines with Tropic Breeze. we stayed at the Tamarind Beach and Yacht club. The staff were outstanding and made us feel special from the moment they met us at the Airport. We were the only 2 arriving on this flight landing on this little green island set in a turquoise blue sea. 2 members of staff greeted us so warmly and drove us the short distance to our Hotel. Ayesha proudly showed us to our suite were our bags had already been delivered and placed in the dressing room. This suite was so romantic and probably the best we have experienced in over 30 years of long haul travel.A 4 poster bed set in a beautiful room surrounded by the sounds of waves lapping the beach only 10 metres away. Difficult to put a finger on why this room was so nice but I guess everything in it was just right. The holiday just got better from then on. Great staff , great weather and a great Golf course what more can I say. THANKS Tropic breeze everything was as published simply first rate . R Benfield

This is the first time I have booked through Tropic Breeze. In all may dealings with them they were professional and helpful. The people there clearly 'know their stuff' and they always provided a speedy response to any enquiries from me. Their local representatives at our holiday location were pleasant and efficient. I would have no hesitation in recommending Tropic Breeze.

We were delighted with our holiday accommodation, we described to Tropical Breeze our ideal holiday and they matched it perfectly. The service was great; friendly and very helpful. TB's personal knowledge of all the destinations was very helpful and made us feel confident we were picking the right hotel. Would highly recommend them for holidays in the Caribbean or Maldives.

We booked a holiday in a resort which we had stayed at before, after carefully researching alternative providers. Tropic Breeze was the most competitive and were very helpful efficient when it came to us changing our dates. We are likely to use them again.

I have just returned from The Body Holiday at Le Sport on St Lucia for the third time with Tropic Breeze. I browsed online for the best deal just in case but no, TB was not to be beaten. From my first email enquiry the booking process was straightforward, the travel advice that arrived with my tickets was helpful. Although my passport would not have expired until my return, I was unaware that I needed to have at least six months on the passport to be allowed into St Lucia or probabaly anywhere else in the Caribbean. This was picked up during the booking process allowing me time to fast track a new passport, phew! Professional, friendly and trustworthy and, best of all I did everything online and with one phone call!

We booked two weeks in Barbados via Tropic Breeze, the second occasion on which we have used them. Competitive on price and a more personal service than the big tour operators. Transfers etc were fine and ticket delivery all went smoothly. Trouble free and no hassle.

My friend and I had a holiday of a lifetime. Perfect location in Saint Lucia, loads of different activities to choose from and amazing treatments every day. weather perfect, own beach with floating lounge beds, of which drinks could be brought out to you. the staff were very friendly and helpful. the tour operators were very helpful and everything ran extremely smoothly.

I have just returned from the fourth holiday I have booked through Tropic Breeze having discovered them in 2010. Their detailed knowledge of the hotels and locations is incredibly helpful and their recommendations have all been perfect for me. The booking and payment process is simple and I know I can trust them to get things right. Compared to travel agents I have used in the past, Tropic Breeze are in a league of their own

The holiday in Bequia was fine. Bequia Beach Hotel was one of the best we had stayed in. The breeze made the beach very pleasant. Tropic Breeze were very efficient but not as friendly as one of their competitors I used a few years ago but they did save me about £700 so would certainly give them a call for my next holiday.

Have just returned from a lovely holiday. No minuses, hotel ticked all the boxes. Great suite nine steps from the beach beautifully furnished, also excellent shower and bathroom. Rooms cleaned perfectly and all done while we were at breakfast so we were never interrupted during the day. Food first class lobster and lobster! We were pleased we booked half board as you would not find better food on the island, and it would involve a short taxi run. Breakfast cooked to order and very varied choice.eggs benedict etc. and all brought to the table plus fruit plate and juice every morning. All staff very friendly and helpful and the owner made us very welcome. Tropic Breeze could not have been more helpful in every respect and had personal knowledge of the hotel. Everything, including flights went like clockwork and we were very pleased with all their help and information

I contacted Tropic Breeze, in a relative panic after leaving the booking of my Caribbean holiday until literally the last minute. The lady at Tropic Breeze managed to find me the resorts I wanted, at a price that was about 15% cheaper than the nearest alternative (which included the airline holiday companies that fly out to St Lucia), on exactly the dates I wanted to go. And she knew the resort really well, helped me choose just the right one for my family, and I got a very good value deal. And most important, our family just loved our holiday. I would highly recommend Tropic Breeze for a holiday to the Caribbean and the Maldives. And if you've never been, go to Windjammer Landing in St Lucia.

We have had two wonderful holidays organised by Tropic Breeze. The staff were both friendly and extremely helpful in assessing exactly what we were looking for. Their service was both speedy and efficient and I would definitely recommend them to all my friends.

We booked our wedding and 10 night's all inclusive at the Blue Waters in Antigua. Our booking was managed by Jo Plummer who was fantastic throughout! We searched high and low for the best price and Tropic Breeze were by far the most competitive. Our nearest quote was nearly 4k more expensive for our party of 8. They even threw in a free sunset cruise after our wedding which was worth £800! Brilliant service and there was always someone available to answer any queries! Very professional company and a pleasure to do business with. I don't hesitate in recommending Tropic Breeze to anyone. Thank you so much Jo and the team for sending us on such a memorable holiday!

Really enjoyed the experience we had with Tropic Breeze. Everyone in the office is very helpful and friendly from the word 'go'. We have now had two holidays with them and their organisation is exemplary.
