Booked a ticket to travel at Xmas. Had to cancel my ticket due to a illness in my family. I was told that a refund was due with the remainder to be paid by my Insurer on provision of a cancellation invoice.
1 - Initially told it would take 2 weeks. NO! Then told it can take up to 6-8 weeks.
2 - Staff don't answer the phone, speak English or understand politeness. They instead fob you off (if you can get through) and tell you to send an email.
3 - Now been waiting for 10 weeks and no refund or cancellation invoice.
4 - My parents cancelled their flights with the same airline. Refund receive three weeks ago.
Just adding more misery on an already bad situation. Never again!
