“Best fares, and No Issues”

I was a bit reluctant to buy two tickets through Travelpapa based on some reviews, but I was very satisfied with the result. The fare was significantly better than any other source. The booking website and email confirmation/info was not as profession as the major travel sites. But when I emailed them for more ticket detail after the booking, they quickly provided the additional info I requested (eticket numbers, and confirming the Booking Reference number). From that point on, the eticket worked the same as if booked from any major ticket provider. I won't hesitate to use them again, if they have the best fare.

“Could be Better”

I found travelpapa when I was researching airfares on the Monomdo.com meta airfare search site. Travelpapa had a great airfare and when I called their customer service number it was promptly answered. I even checked their rating on the Better Business Bureau (BBB) web site and they had an A+ rating. But they were not formally “accredited by BBB” which is one of the reasons why I decided to go with an alternate site. I hope travelpapa seeks BBB accreditation. That would greatly help their reputation and standing in the business. When buying an expensive international ticket, I would never settle for a ticket from a travel agency that does not have a BBB accreditation.

The worst service ever...Making mistakes having it in the record and lies to the customers to keep the money??..Notice to all the people whoever are interested in purchases tickets by TRAVEL PAPA don't trust them cause its a big nuisance causing a headache!!

Worst costumer service. They don't care about the costumer at all. Very untrustworthy company. People buy tickets through other company if you don't want to lose your money !!!! Avoid !! Avoid !!avoid !!

“Travel papa”

Booked a flight with travelpapa from Nairobi via Kigali to Dubai and few weeks after I got mail about a little schedule change. Okay no problem, and the also said I should check on "checkmytrip.com" to be secure on my flights. I checked the website few times before heading to the airport in 15 hour bus from Dar es salaam, but when I got there the flight company said there was no flight! I could get a flight to Kigali and perhaps the next morning to Dubai, I had no choice but to take the flight and be stuck in the really small airport in Kigali the whole night. You need a visa to go to Rwanda so I was not buying one just to stay one night at a airport hotel. No restaurants were open in the airport and after waiting the whole night i finally got confirmation about the flight to Dubai. The flight company said the flight had been changed months before and it was the travel agencis fault i did not get the information. Check my trip still had the flight confirmed even if there was no flight. Thats what I have to say about Travelpapa, never again.

“WORST TRAVEL EXPERIENCE”

ON DECEMBER 2012, ME AND MY FAMILY PURCHASED AIR TICKETS FROM EL PASO TX TO FRANKFURT, GERMANY AND BACK. I RECEIVED A CONFIRMATION EMAIL, WITH A CONFIRMATION CODE FOR THE LUFTHANSA FLIGHTS OPERATED BY UNITED AIRLINES AND GUESS WHAT. ON THE FIRST FLIGHT FOR EL PASO TO HOUSTON THEY WERENT SEATS. SO ACCORDING TO UNITED PEOPLE, THERE WAS NO CORRECT COMMUNICATION BETWEEN LUFTHANSA AND UNITED AND TICKETS FOR THE FIRST FLIGHT WERE NOT ISSUED. WE HAD TO SPEND ALL DAY AT THE AIRPORT FOR MISSING THE FIRST FLIGHT, UNITED SENT US TO NEWARK AND WE LOST MANY MANY HOURS AND MISSED THE FIRST DAY OF OUR TOUR IN GERMANY. WE CALLED TRAVELPAPA AND THEY SAID TICKETS WERE ISSUED AND THATS IT. THEY TAKE NO RESPONSABILITY FOR ANYTHING. WORST TRIP EVER. NEVER USING THIS DAMN SITE AGAIN.

“Pay more for e-ticket”

WARNING!! I checked "Show only E-Tickets" and select that air ticket on site of TRAVELPAPA. But have to pay more after confirmation. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Unfortunately we are not able to issue that airline combination for you, system does not permit us. We can try to process it as two separate tickets, it will be with 5US Dollars more.

“Never ever use this agency!!”

This travelling agency is as incompetent, unprofessional and untrustworthy as they come. Please, do yourself a favor and never book your tickets with them! First of all, they never get back to you when you try to contact them, even when they say they will. When you finally get in touch with them, nobody seems to be able to help you out except for the manager who isn't always there. When I booked my ticket it took me several weeks to actually receive my e-ticket. This is apparently how they work. The real problems, however, started when I was going to in fact use my ticket. The airport had no ticket number for me, and even though I had gotten a reservation number from Travelpapa, it was useless, because they had not booked any seats for me on the flights. I could not get in touch with Travelpapa while in airport (as usual might I add), and nobody could help me, and I was basically told to go home. I finally did get in touch with them, and 10 minutes before check-in closes, they come up with my ticket number, after my boyfriend has been online with them for 2 hours. And then it was too late, as I was already on the train home. Now what they told me is my ticket was lost if I didn't check in within those 10 minutes!! I've been on chat and on the phone with them all day, and all they do is clean their hands, even though everyone else I've talked to from the actual airlines and at the airport have told me that this is clearly Travelpapa's responsibility. I have done nothing wrong here, and nobody does anything to help me out after they've messed up. I'm absolutely appalled by the way this agency does business and treats their customer. I travel frequently and I've never in my life been through worse customer's service. I recommend that everyone stays away from this agency!

Yeah, they are 'smart' like that.. I ended up buying a brand new ticket with a different airline, because Travelpapa screwed me over. So that was money lost. Also turned out that they had used the skymiles of the manager of the agency to pay for the ticket that I had booked with them. This is illegal, and I told the airline about it, and they said they would investigate, because skymiles can only be used for the person who earned them or family members, not as payment for a ticket that a customer bought! Anyways, long story and I could keep going.
Just never use them!!
