The idea of a travel agents like Travel Republic is that it is easier than going direct. This was not the case. I still had to manage the hotel and flight tickets as separate bookings. Despite giving Travel Republic the Advanced Passenger Information, they did not pass the advanced passenger information to one airline. They also did not inform the hotel that we had paid for breakfast, and most importantly did not actually pay the hotel. I made my final payment to travel republic about 3 weeks before our stay. Luckily the hotel was happy to take it up with Travel Republic directly, but it would have been much easier (and no more expensive) to go directly to the hotel and airlines.
