There is no point using Travel Republic, they outsource bookings to organisations such as Sunhotels who supply inferior hotels and when something goes wrong ABTA arent able to act as the supplier of services (or Principle as ABTA refer to) isnt covered through ABTA. To cut a long story short, after enduring an horrendous night in a room infested with 1000's of ants in an alleged 4 star hotel (which scored highly on Trip Advisor) we asked to move rooms. The hotel couldnt as they were full. We were charged for the night we stayed and 1 night cancellation (even though we left after one night) despite the owner agreeing to a full refund! A £110 to spend 1 night with 1000's of ants is a scandal.
