Castillo beach resort. - . Barcelo Fuerteventura

We arrived 9th March to be told we were not booked at Castillo Beach but in to the Barcelo Fuerteventura? We were given no explanation but did eventually find out there had been a power/water/construction work problem. We had booked a superior beach bungalow via Travel Republic not a hotel. The room was nice but we didn't want a hotel . Staff weren't very helpful and I had to phone Travel Republic in the uk who found out we could move back to Castillo Beach. As I've said we booked a superior beach view bungalow (there is no such thing! They are beach facing although there are trees, but they are 4 in a block apartments not bungalows. we had a ground floor with terrace which was in the shade a lot. And we had people above us.When I spoke to the assistant manager he said Travel Republic should not be advertising as bungalows but they are shown as bungalows elsewhere as we'll so I think this was an excuse. There is BUILDING WORK going at the moment. It next to the poll so most people are not using it. When I asked the assistant manager about this he agreed people should have been told but said Barcelo Group had decided not to let travel agents know...very poor.. Our rooms was nice and food was of a good standard. Entertainment is terrible slspstick comedy and miming to songs but some people seemed to like it!

Would we go back never. Based on not getting accommodation we thought we had paid for, porridge explanation of reasons for move, and general disinterest by most of reception staff. Barcelo I've stayed with you before but you've let me down this time.
