Really disappointed with Travel Republic. I have booked and paid my holiday on the website, recieved and printed the confirmation. When we arrived to the hotel I was told at the reception that my booking was rejected and advised that I have to go to another (inferior in my view) hotel. I was told this was not a problem of the hotel but the problem of travel agency who did not even bother contacting me in advance to let me know about the issue. Had several conversations with local agency (Orthodox travel?) who was handling my booking done with Travel Republic and refused to consider anything other that Four Seasons. Eventually the hotel managed to accomode me and my family despite being fully booked (but we had to move to another room mid week). I am gratefull to the hotel for sorting this problem out. Very poor service from Travel Repblic - will advise my friends and family to avoid this agency.
