My wife and I booked two weeks in Lanzarote and flew from East Midlands on the 3rd March. Due to a Hurrican over the area the plane was unable to land in Lanzarote and instead managed to land in Feurtaventura. After some time waiting on the aircraft the Captain stated that the weather was not improving so we were taken by bus to a hotel and given a meal and drinks.
In the morning we were given a breakfast then bussed back to the airport and boarded the plane. After a wait for clearance we were flown to lanzarote and started our holiday. The Thomsons staff were excellent,cheerfull and worked hard in very difficult circumstances to overcome what could have been a nightmare trip. We later heard that passengers with other airlines were not so well catered for so in summary we wish to thank Thomsons and the staff.
