On a 7 day holiday to Corfu, my son didn't want to sit next to a stranger. You can't tell what seats are allocated until you do an 'online check-in' which can only be done 24 hrs before the flight. I therefore paid an extra £26 to ensure we sat next to each other. Did the 'online check-in' 24 hrs before the flight & discovered we already allocated seats next to each other. Rang Customer services and asked for my £26 back and was told it was non-refundable. Very unhappy. Got on the flight and the seats I'd paid the extra £26 for had been given to someone else! So £26 wasted.
The flight back home, TRX3409 was not pleasant. The Cabin Crew manager seemed ok, but the skinny geek working with him needs a Customer Relations refresher. We were told to have the correct change for purchases! What a joke why can't they have a larger till float. I asked how much a can of coke was and was told to 'look it up yourself'. If you had not pre-booked a hot meal you couldn't get one as they ran out, and if you hadn't pre-booked a meal you were ignored. Thank goodness the flight was only 3 hrs!
