A request to have a small mistake edited in a booking for flights has been refused by Thomas Cooks despite the flight being six months away and the change being requested minutes after the booking.

7 calls to various customer service numbers, literally HOURS on call centre waiting queues and just told that no-one can help... really? No one in the whole of Thomas Cook can do anything? Wow.

I have not experienced such bad customer service since Talk Talk. I don't use them anymore.

Please avoid Thomas Cook and try Thompson instead - they have made edits and even full cancellations to my bookings in the past without any argument at all. What completely different experiences.

Not worth the hassle. Wish I read these reviews before I booked it, but I wrongly assumed they were a big, reputable company so couldn't be that bad, right? Lesson learnt.
