My son has coeliac, when trying to book our holiday in store the staff member phoned the welfare dept to ask them to contact the hotel to see if they could cater for him, the welfare dept said they only dealt with medical needs (coeliac is a medical condition) and that he should tell us to email the hotel - why should we be made to pay £3000 for a holiday and have to do this ourselves, the money paid covers the cost of Thomas Cooks service, so what exactly are we paying for, and before you say that all travel agents are the same - Thomson do it all for you!!
